Samuel Gillette – Communications
Sam will be in 12th grade at Dixie High School for the 2022-20223 year. He believes youth involvement is important to the community because it gives youth a chance to learn and serve the people around. For the community to be fully represented, it should have representatives from different age groups.
Averi Jackson – Recorder / Social Events
Averi will be in 10th grade at Vista Charter School for the 2022-2023 year. She believes young people have new, fresh ideas that deserve to be heard. Kids are part of the community too and their voices should not be discounted.
Brennen Kinslow – Mayor Pro Tem / Community Outreach
Brennen will be in 10th grade at St George Academy for the 2022-2023 year. He would like to put on more youth activities in our community. He will commit his time to the Ivins Youth Council and expressed he will gladly take on any responsibilities that come up such as service projects, or public speaking.
Connor Oliphant – Treasurer / Parliamentarian
Connor will be in 12th grade at Snow Canyon High School for the 2022-2023. He stated the youth are the future of the city, and we want to learn to better help out the community.
Summer Terry – Mayor
Summer will be in 11th grade via a home school program for the 2022-2023 year. She stated we are the rising generation, it is important for us to learn, be involved and to serve our community.
Roxie Sparling – Historian / Public Relations
Roxie will be in 10th grade at Vista Charter High School for the 2022-2023 year. She indicated it is important to have different perspectives from a range of ages not just adults. The youth of today are the future of tomorrow.
