At this week’s set of three annual Neighborhood Meetings, Ivins Mayor Chris Hart proudly introduced Youth Council members who made brief presentations about their ADA-accessible swing set project. Chloe, Aaron, Michaela, William, and Ollie took turns speaking at each of the three meetings. They raised $2,952 over the three nights.

These passionate Youth Council members didn’t just take the stage, they took action. They shared their ambitious project: an ADA-accessible swing set to make local parks more inclusive for everyone. With energy and enthusiasm, they detailed their fundraising efforts, and their message clearly resonated.
A big shoutout to our Youth Council for their dedication and to the community for stepping up to support a great cause. Stay tuned, this swing set is on its way! They need to raise $38,500 to secure a matching grant. Adding donations from these three events, they have already raised $16,967. Every donation, big or small, helps show community support and makes this project possible. You can donate at https://ivinsyouthcouncil.com/?p=581.
