The Ivins Youth Council has been busy this year. They attended Local Officials Day at the State Capitol in January, had dinner with Senator Ipson and House Representative Walter, and participated in group activities and mock committee hearings.
In February, the Mayor asked the Youth Council to represent the City at the Washington County Fair in April by creating an Ivins display. They are working on that now.
They also plan to help set up the Easter Egg Scramble on April 8th and have a lot more educational and service activities planned for 2023.
If you know any youth who live in Ivins and are now in 8th to 11th grade, let them know they can join the Ivins Youth Council for fun, education, and service activities. Click here for the online application.
