The Ivins Youth Council participated in Heritage Days on September 10th. The goal was to raise awareness in the community about the Youth Council and do some fundraising to support future community events.
To do the fundraising, the council created a “potato cannon” and charged for a chance at hitting the bullseye. Winners got a free loaded baked potato. The public loved it. The event was a huge success and made some money.
