Here are the positions and responsibilities for the officers of the Ivins Youth Council. Youth Council officers are required to attend and report at all meetings. If they are unable to attend a meeting, they will arrange for another Youth Council member to report for them and provide that member with the necessary information.

Note: The term “chair” and “co-chair” (chairperson and co-chairperson) implies authority and responsibility. This person is expected to take charge and ensure the smooth running of the assigned duties. An important skill for those who serve in the role of chair is effective planning. The chair must plan to keep the Youth Council’s purpose, mission and strategic direction in mind, and then implement that plan.
