The Ivins Youth Council receives guidance and instruction from a team of Advisors, including an advisor from the Ivins City Council.

Jamy Dahle – Director

Jamy Dahle is the Assistant Director of Dixie State University’s Booth Wellness Center, and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. In her role at DSU, her focus is on providing mental health services, as well as health education and prevention at the collegiate level. She is a suicide prevention trainer, using the evidence-based QPR Model. She is also an Adjunct Faculty at DSU in the Family Studies and Human Development Department. She graduated from Eastern Washington University in 2006 with a Master’s Degree in Social Work. She has worked in outpatient treatment settings in both direct practice, administration, and outreach. Prior to becoming a therapist, she worked in the Judicial System with at-risk youth. Jamy provides individual, couples/family, and group therapy, as well as plans, coordinates and implements wellness events and presentations on DSU campus. Jamy lives in Ivins with her family, and enjoys pretty much anything outdoors including boating, hiking, dirt biking, biking, gardening, and camping. 

Tiffany Wynn – Co-Director

Tiffany and her husband Floyd moved to Ivins in 2022 and are excited to be able to call Ivins their forever home. Moving 10 times, both internationally and stateside, for Floyd’s career working for the military with the Army and Air Force Exchange Service, Tiffany enjoyed a career as a middle school English and History teacher. She has always been passionate about providing her students with a variety of activities to challenge and engage them, from coordinating the national spelling bee and geography bee to serving as the student government advisor and school newspaper advisor. Tiffany is excited to now have the opportunity to work with the teens of Ivins and to help them learn about civics and city government and to experience the joy of contributing to their community. She is also serving on her community HOA Board and part of the team developing a volunteer database and hub for Ivins. In her free time, Tiffany enjoys running (especially the St. George Marathon!), meditation, pickleball, hiking, cross country skiing, traveling, and spending time at home with her family.

Mike Scott – City Council Representative

Mike is a member of the Ivins City Council and the City’s representative on the Youth Council. I served on the Ivins Planning Commission for ten years. My wife Patty and I owned a real estate market research and consulting business for more than twenty years. During that time, I taught real estate economics, spoke at educational seminars, and our research was published regionally and nationally.

Bob Morris – Youth Council Advisor

Bob Morris moved with his wife Lorrie and their 6 children to Ivins in 1995. Bob was able to realize his dream of constructing his own home with the help of his wife and neighbors.  Bob is a Grandfather of 13, Dedicated Scout Leader in the Community Troop 407, He and Lorrie own Adventurous Getaways (a property management company).  He is a retired Master Electrician, former Electrical Contractor, former Adjunct Faculty at Dixie Tech College, Member of the Ivins City Planning Commission, and an active member of his church currently serving as Bishop, He enjoys serving youth and helping them to realize their potential.
